Horwath International has moved quickly to recruit a new member in Singapore, First Trust Partnership, after its previous member joined RSM International (see issue 381).
Werner Rotach, CEO of Horwath International, said: "We are delighted to have a new member firm that shares our vision, core values and high level of integrity as part of the Horwath network - a firm with strong capabilities and a global perspective."
The organisation, formerly known as TKH Company, was set up in 2002 by chief executive officer Tan Kuang Hui and executive director and head of assurance Alfred Cheong. Horwath said that since then the firm has grown its client base rapidly so that it now includes multinational corporations, publicly listed and privately held companies, and statutory boards in Singapore and Asia-Pacific. The organisation also has an initial public offerings (IPO) group which specialises in helping Chinese companies list on the Singapore exchange.
