Like the much-recycled former manager of the New York Yankees, I'm back with my version of the Business Journal's Marketing & Media column, an admittedly odd collection of news and personal comments.
Warning: Think of it as business news in the same way you'd think of Jim Healy's old radio show as sports news. All that's missing is sound bites of Tommy Lasorda being bleeped.

One of the things I love about periodically impersonating a reporter is the pile of PR crappola that piles up on my desk each week. This week's strangest release comes from AdvantEdge, a New York ad agency that's hitched its wagon to a very strange star - an orangutan named Sunshine.
According to the release, Sunshine earned $1 million last year from 75 different advertisers across the country. They also included a video that's sort of the "Best of Sunshine."
I don't know what Carl's Jr. is paying Dennis Rodman, but...
