A touch of Las Vegas flair has come to the World Wide Web, courtesy of Entertainment Promotions Network, Newport Beach.
The web site management company has launched a site for those master illusionists of the Strip, Siegfried and Roy. (The web address? What else: siegfriedandroy.com.)
The site is the biggest yet developed by EPN, according to spokeswoman Allison Engler. It is every bit as flashy as Siegfried and Roy's magic shows and includes sections such as Sarmoti (Siegfried and Roy: Masters of the Impossible), Jungle Palace, the Royal White Tigers of Nevada and Ask Siegfried and Roy.
EPN landed the account through Los Angeles advertising agency Rogers & Cowan, which had been contracted by Siegfried & Roy's management. From there, EPN representatives prepared a prototype web page and flew to Las Vegas to present it to the entertainers at their Mirage penthouse.
Engler said Siegfried and Roy have been "instrumental" in designing the page. "They are becoming web savvy," she said.
In its first few days, the web site has had more than 50,000 visits. E-mail regarding the site has come in from around the world. EPN is planning to add to the site: One addition in the works is a section dedicated to Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden, located at the Mirage, home to...
