Irvine's Rogerson Aircraft Corporation recently completed a $2.5 million expansion of its Pasadena unit, Rogerson Kratos, adding 50 jobs and enhancing production capacity in time for a slew of recently won contracts.
RAC is an avionics and electromechanical instruments supplier, whose products include instrumentation displays, gauges, valves, lavatory systems and auxiliary fuel systems.
Rogerson Kratos' expansion increased the plant's floor space from 40,000 square feet to 60,000 square feet, but production capacity will quadruple because the added space will be used solely for manufacturing, said RAC Chairman Michael Rogerson.
