In today's busy world, only the most valuable organizations are able to keep their members.
As proof of BOMA Orange County's value to its member, BOMA Orange County has an 85 percent rate of keeping its members involved and active.
2006 was another successful year for BOMA Orange County as the leading resource for advocacy, information and education for the commercial real estate industry.
Event attendance is above average at 158 per luncheon (industry averages 60 to 80 people per luncheon), but it's no surprise when BOMA Orange County's roster of speakers included: John Combs, CPM, principal of RiverRock Real Estate Group; John Cushman, III, chairman of the board for Cushman & Wakefield; Michael Carona, Sheriff of Orange County; Kerry Vandell, Professor of Finance and Director of the Center for Real Estate at the University of California; Melinda Hall-Wood, vice president and Eric Paulsen, vice president of LNR Property Corporation; and, Val Wheeler, executive vice president of asset management of The Irvine Company Office Properties.
Adding to its list of achievements this year, BOMA Orange County had another financially and socially successful Charity Golf Classic, raising over $18,000 for the Cystinosis Research Foundation, which is searching for a cure for cystinosis, a rare metabolic disease that slowly destroys many...
