Leonard Hoops has a problem with Dionne Warwick's song, "Do you know the way to San Jose?"
"She never gave you the answer," says Hoops, the public relations director for the San Jose Convention and Visitors Bureau. "If she ever does a sequel, we'll tell her what it is."
The song is indicative of the city's image problem-situated in the center of a popular set of scenic destinations including Monterey, Carmel, and San Francisco, San Jose is known more for technology than for tourism.
