Cooperativismo y educación: Juventudes y Escuela Agrícola en Tres Arroyos (Buenos Aires-Argentina), 1942-1968

Abstract

Cooperativismo - capacitación - Tres Arroyos - Argentina Abstract Argentine agricultural cooperatives have been concerned from their origins with the dissemination and implementation of cooperative principles, technical training for the youth and the implementation of adequate information and training. In this regard the cooperative movement in the province of Buenos Aires finds in the Agricultural Cooperative Tres Arroyos a privileged expression, as a pioneer in the creation of the Youth Agricultural Cooperative in 1942 and an elementary school of Agriculture in 1947. The purpose of this paper is to study both undertakings as cooperative strategies shared by the cooperative movement and other actors of the agricultural world, aimed at rooting the youth to the land, offsetting the rural exodus and the consequent reduction of workforce employed in rural areas. El Estado se hace cargo entonces de la escuela, como Escuela de Agricultura San Francisco de Bellocq e integra el grupo de emprendimientos de la provincia de Buenos Aires, algunos nacidos a principios del siglo XX, otros ya en los años 40, con un plan de estudios de tres años que se mantiene así aún luego de 1958 cuando parte de las escuelas pasan a ser bachilleratos.
