When Kristen Evenson heard about Sun Country Airlines' new Onefare business travel program she quickly enrolled her company, Minnetonka-based CFG Insurance Services.
The deal requires her to book 40 flights in a 12-month period, but caps the price at $130 for one-way travel and $260 for round-trips.
Evenson, a marketing representative for CFG, said going directly to the airline saved her time and money.
But the Onefare program - and others targeting business travelers - have met mixed feelings from travel agents. Several say their bottom line will take a hit, since Onefare requires travelers to book directly with Mendota Heights-based Sun Country.
In the coming months Sun Country plans to unveil a program similar to Onefare specifically for travel agents, said spokeswoman Tammy Lee. In the meantime, the airline is making sure its product is available to...
