Claim to fame: Well-known program management and owners' consultant on high-profile projects such as Boston's Big Dig and the Visteon Corp. headquarters in Van Buren Township. Won the University of Michigan Engineering Alumni Society Merit Award for civil and environmental engineering in 2003, and cost engineer of the year, Great Lakes Section, from the American Association of Cost Engineers in 1991. Served as an adjunct faculty member of the UM graduate construction engineering and management program for more than 16 years.
