Network Automation's jobscheduling software handles repetitive IT chores efficiently, freeing staff tor more important tasks.
Are there tasks your IT staff members perform every day that bore them to tears? Wouldn't it be nice to set up a computer to do those chores instead?
Network Automation's AutoMate 6.0 is one of the latest tools for doing just that. You can set it up to take care of job scheduling, file replication, application testing, server event log monitoring, report generation, and other everyday IT chores, then forget about them (or just look at the reports on them). It saves labor and reduces errors by automating repetitive tasks and is particularly strong at extracting and populating data to and from other applications.
AutoMate is simple to use and is already helping medium-sized companies like decor manufacturer House Parts handle complex functions such as Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) automatically. But large enterprises needing remote administration and centralized management may want to wait for version 6.5 of the product, due at the end of the year, or look elsewhere.

Simple "if/else" rules let the software evaluate variables and take action based on the results, while loop actions allow a set of actions to be performed repeatedly. When a process step fails, AutoMate will automatically send a failure notification email to the appropriate staff member. Additional scripting is available with a Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)-compatible scripting language that should be...
