Advertising gets 'nuts' in Madison's novel
Two Watt Bulb, the ad agency, had trouble pitching Kitty Litter. "[Dick] shaved a 'K' in his chest. I wore a doggie bag. We didn't get the account. Dick smiled too much. It took their minds off his 'K.' They thought we were nuts. We were American Pitch Men."
Not good ones, perhaps. But...
