The main purpose of this was to provide economical treatment but without compromising in the standards. [...]Bhattacharya orthopedic and Research Centre” was born at Narayanpur, a small village near the airport. Because of innumerable patients, the township developed around the land. In 1983 when Prof. Mukhopadhaya established Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation–India (OREF–India), he picked up Sailen da as one of the life trustees and was appointed as the Vice Chairman of the foundation.
