In a case report, four women [aged 43-64 years] were described, who developed Muehrcke's lines, hand-foot syndrome or diffusive black pigmentation following treatment with cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, etoposide, prednisone, vincristine, epirubicin, trastuzumab, paclitaxel, or capecitabine [routes and dosages not stated; not all outcomes stated].
Case 1: A 43-year-old woman developed Muehrcke's lines during treatment with cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, etoposide, prednisone and vincristine (EPOCH) chemotherapy. The woman presented with one-month ulceration of right lower gingiva in March 2015. On 30 March 2015, she underwent resection of neoplasm from right lower gingiva. She was pathologically diagnosed with extra-nodal NK-T cell lymphoma. She was further found to have diffusive lymphoma with lung infiltration. From 14 April 2015 to 18 October 2015, she started receiving cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, etoposide, prednisone and vincristine chemotherapy for eight cycles.
