Sterling's CDS Central Drying Stations are designed to save space and energy by using only one dryer with multiple hoppers to dry several resins or colors at the same time. A "materials miser" valve automatically balances airflow between hoppers to prevent the heating of excess air and the over-drying of materials. The central drying system also reduces chances that the material will gain moisture. An optional air heater controls and maintains separate air temperature for each hopper.
