This edition of the well-reputed standard book appears 7 years after the previous edition. The renowned editor triumvirate of Ashwood, Bruns, and Burtis, who had been very successful with their Tietz Textbook of Clinical Chemistry and Fundamentals of Molecular Diagnostics, carefully prepared and updated the previous edition of Tietz Fundamentals of Clinical Chemistry in cooperation with a team of 77 contributors. The new book addresses not only the most important fields in clinical chemistry, but also the recent changes in this discipline.
