The vendor is strengthening the links between its tax and practice management software.
Under the Best Software umbrella, CPASoftware is working to integrate the elements of its Visual Suite to attract more users to its Visual Tax tax preparation system this season.
"We're finding more professionals are looking for one solution from one vendor and we want to be able to provide the integration our clients want," says Joe Partridge, tax development manager.
Integration already exists among Visual Depreciation, Payroll and Client Write-up. This season the focus is on strengthening the link with Visual Practice for project tracking as Best, which purchased the CPAS operations last year, works to broaden the appeal of Visual Tax. The tax applications, which had only 300 or so users at the time of purchase, was lesser known than CPAS' Visual Practice package. Best hopes to promote the tax program through the appeal of the integrated system.
