The book claims to be a concise and practical introduction to basic principles of software verification and validation. The claim is well founded. There is much sound and practical advice provided in an easy-- to-read fashion for both the beginner and experienced practitioners. The material is presented straight up-introduced, discussed rationally and logically. Questions/issues and answers are provided along with numerous examples, tables, and checklists.
The book is divided into four parts and appendices. Each part focuses on a different aspect of software verification and validation and is presented so that readers build on knowledge presented in the preceding sections. Each chapter contains references and,...
