Angelika Millendorfer, the head of emerging Europe equities at Raiffeisen Capital Management, has added her voice to calls for Russian regulators to reconsider their policy of suspending market trading.
Russia's main stock indices, the Micex and RTS, have had full or partial suspensions of trading in place more than a dozen times over the past month. Russian financial regulators saw fit to curtail trading 23 times in the past two months, including October 8-15, 24-28, 30 and November 6, as share prices saw their greatest fall in October since the banking collapse...
