COMPANY PROFILE
Fellowes is still owned and operated by the same family that started the company over 80 years ago when Harry Fellowes founded the now famous "Banker's Boxes." From its beginning in 1917, Fellowes has built its business around products that offer "superior quality, usefulness, and value."
The business became a family affair when son John Fellowes joined his brother Folger on a company sales trip to the West Coast in May 1938. Over the years, Fellowes grew business from a small midwestern manufacturer to a significant global business. In the 1950s, John and Folger took over the company with the goal of building it into a strong national manufacturer. John managed purchasing, manufacturing, and administration while Folger established the company's customer base.
