Lake Nona Property Holdings, LLC will develop Lake Nona, a 7,000-acre masterplanned community in Orlando, FIa. The project will include 950,000 square feet of retail space, 950,000 square feet of office space, 9,000 residential units, a 4.9 million-square-foot airport support district and 2,250 hotel villas.
Fremont Investment & Loan hired Shawn Wardlow as vice president of its commercial real estate division. Prior to joining Fremont, Wardlow was project executive with C.W. Driver.
Daniel Corporation, Selig Enterprises, Inc. and the Canyon-Johnson Urban Fund will develop 1010 Midtown, a 630,000-squarefoot mixed-use project in Atlanta, Ga. The project will contain 38,000 square feet of retail space and 443 condominiums. Completion is scheduled for early 2009.
