The Horn Book Guide Online, published in electronic form by Greenwood Electronic Media, will assist teachers and librarians with identifying and selecting the best and most appropriate books for young people. The database includes over 40,000 reviews of children's and young adult books published beginning in 1989.
The basic search and the advanced search are both extremely simple to use. Another option that makes this database uncomplicated is the indexes. The Horn Book Guide Online allows viewers to browse by author, illustrator, or subject via quick links in the menu bar. These pages are displayed in alphabetical order for easy browsing.
