Those familiar with previous editions of this established dictionary will surely welcome this revised edition that contains over 20,000 medical and technology-related terms including translations and definitions, signs and symptoms of common disorders, phrases used when communicating with patients together with basic grammatical introductions to both Spanish and English. The volume has been updated to take account of new techniques developed for surgical and diagnostic procedures, such as lasers, MRI, and molecular imaging by positron emission.
