Aegis Mortgage Corp. was started in 1981 as a real estate lending company. It is now a diversified financial services company headquartered in Houston, with over 3,000 employees and lending operations in 49 states and the District of Columbia.
In total, Aegis Mortgage Corp. has four lending subsidiaries: Aegis Lending Corp., headquartered in Baton Rouge, La., and Aegis Wholesale Corp., Aegis Funding Corp. (which also uses the trade name Aegis Home Equity) and Aegis Correspondent Corp., located in Houston.
When it came to automating their processes, Aegis turned to Greenbrae, Calif.-based MindBox and investing in the company's Power Editor application. The MindBox Power Editor is a multilevel editing application that allows business users to modify or update automated business policies.
