In this lively and informative book Gary A. Donaldson provides readers with a number of important insights into American politics after 1950. Although the title indicates that this book is about the presidential election of 1960 and the campaigns of John F. Kennedy and Richard M. Nixon, me study offers much more than that. Donaldson analyzes a large body of material to help readers comprehend the dramatic course of political events in the second half of the twentieth century.
