IB: What's the scope of First National Bank of Long Island's operations?
Vittorio: We approximate $1.3 billion in terms of total assets. We have nearly 300 employees, and we are in the process of building our 29th branch now, in Bayville, N.Y.
IB: What's your marketplace like?
Vittorio: Long Island as a geography is basically a service economy. There is very strong retail, healthcare and a significant number of biotech companies. ?
Nassau and Suffolk counties as an economy would probably be in the top half of the state economies in the country....
