STAMFORD--Another nationwide corporate real estate brokerage firm has joined the fray in the troubled but crowded Fairfield-Westchester office market.
Following the lead of Edward S. Gordon of New York City last year and Newmark Realty of New York earlier this year, The Galbreath Co. of Columbus, Ohio, has entered the Fairfield-Westchester market by merging with Warwick Associates of Stamford.
Daniel M. Galbreath, chairman and chief executive officer, and Bruce Warwick, chairman of Warwick Associates announced the alignment earlier this month.
The new firm--Galbreath Company of Connecticut--is headquartered at 600 Summer St. in Stamford, the former offices of Warwick Associates. Combined with Galbreath's New York City offices, the firm employs 30 brokers and associates. The merger adds two million square feet of office, residential and commercial...
