Abstract

This paper contains descriptions of lessons that we developed to make the computer a central part of the process of learning and teaching economics. Through remedial branching, these lessons use the interactive capability of the computer to present traditional material, such as supply and demand, in a novel way and to integrate new material, such as research on women in the economy, into introductory economics.
