VARIABLE-FREQUENCY DRIVES
With a power range of up to 20 hp, applications for SMVector drives include packaging machinery, foodprocessing machinery, materialhandling/ conveying systems, and HVAC systems. These drives feature four modes of operation (V/Hz, enhanced V/Hz, vector speed, and torque), high starting torque, autotuning, advanced low-speed control, and dynamic speed regulation. Input voltage ranges from 120 Vac, single phase, to 600 Vac, three phase. The SMVector also includes drive memory in a removable chip, letting customers program multiple drives in seconds.

LINEAR-ARC MOTORS
Combining the technology of disk-drive voice-coil motors with that of more traditional brushless linear motors, the LARC Series of limited-arc motors target large-diameter limitedangle positioning applications. The frameless design lets customers mount the coil and magnet track directly to their equipment. The units are driven by standard 3 - brushless motor controllers from 24 to 300 V at speeds from 0.1 to 1,000 rpm. A low-profile option is only 10-mm thick and handles custom-arc diameters up to 800 mm. Torque output is specified at 15 lb-in./radial in. of arc.

STEPPER-MOTOR MODULES
The stepper-motor module X67SM4320 controls up to four stepper motors with a rated voltage of 18 to 30 Vdc at a motor current up to 1 A (1.5 A peak). Module X67SM2436, on the other hand, controls up to two stepper motors with a rated voltage of 18 to 48 Vdc at a motor current up to 3 A (5 A peak). The unit sports six digital inputs that can be used as limit switches or encoder inputs. Each model has a maximum step frequency of 20 kHz.

ELECTRIC-POWER-STEERING SYSTEM
The APS Advanced Power Steering System consists of a permanentmagnet ac motor with integrated speed reducer and an ac drive with I/O interface. It features a CANopen interface for integration and communication, and covers a wide variety of vehicle applications including Class 1, 2, and 3 lift trucks.
