Eagle Span Steel Structures Inc. of Loveland is spreading its wings with an expected move to Weld County that could more than quadruple its size.
The proposed expansion would include a minimum of 50,000 square-feet of manufacturing space, 25,000 square-feet of offices in Weld County and one or two hangars sited at either the Fort CollinsLoveland Muni-cipal Airport or the neighboring Centre Pointe Business Airpark.
"Two years from now we'll probably be around 80 employees," said Eagle Span president Jerry Curtis, who founded the pre-engineered metal buildings and bridges business in December 1996, with a single employee. The company currently employs a staff of 32.
