Still in its infancy, local number portability has attracted the attention of companies who want to fill the need all carriers eventually will have: Successful interconnection with their neighborhood number portability administration center (NPAC).
The latest entrant in this ever-growing pool of LNP application suppliers is MCI Systemhouse {MCIC}. Its telecom management services business unit has developed a suite of services called Local Number Portability Solutions (LNPS).
