Cars and trucks are rolling off today's assembly lines with plenty of punch under their hoods, making available some of the most exciting performance vehicles ever created. But for some car guys, that's just not enough.
So they look to the aftermarket to satisfy their high-horsepower urges. Technology is changing so fast and affecting so many areas of performance that it can be tough to keep current. We checked in with some purveyors of aftermarket high-performance goodies to see what's available to increase your vehicle's horsepower and performance-and fun.

With a combined fifty years in the business, Gerald Cashiola, RSFs president, his business partner Jason Calzada, and their staff have established a reputation for making some of the hottest Dodge Vipers around. RSI offers a wide range of performance upgrades for the Viper, from mild engine modifications to supercharging, turbocharging, and complete engine rebuilds. "We're extremely proud of what we have been able to do with the Viper," says Calzada. "But we do a lot more than just Vipers. We offer performance packages on the Cadillac CTS-V, Corvettes, Mustangs, and the Chrysler 500C. You name it, we can increase its horsepower."
Calzada is a big proponent of forced induction, particularly turbo-charging. "With turbochargers, you can make more power and there is no waste," Calzada explains. "Plus, turbos just sound so cool!"
