Rome Laboratory continues work with area universities

GRIFFISS AIR FORCE BASE--Rome Laboratory has agreed to share its technology and expertise with Syracuse University and the Rochester Institute of Technology (R.I.T.)

Francis L. Crumb, chief of public affairs for the laboratory operated by the U.S. Air Force, explains that "technology transfer" has become a priority as the facility seeks to convert defense technology to industrial use. For the last five years, the laboratory has been a leader in making military technology available to private industry, state and local governments, and the academic community.
