LOS ANGELES - Dick Macedo, who lived the fantasy of every ad man who wants to show the suits how to run a car company, resigned last week from his executive vice president's post at Kia Motors America.
Citing a need to spend more time with his family, Macedo, 60, said he was "beaten up" after eight years of 12- to 15-hour days and countless months on the road.
Kia Motors America President B.M. Ahn will assume Macedo's duties until a successor is named.
