DETROIT - General Motors' plan to end production of the Buick Rendezvous crossover in December is putting dealers in a bind.
Buick stores won't get significant numbers of the Rendezvous replacement, the Enclave crossover, until next summer. Dealers want GM to give them month-by-month floorplan assistance to carry the Rendezvous after production ends. But Buick spokesman Dave Darovitz last week said there was no plan for extended assistance.
