The Secretary's Advisory Committee on National Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Objectives for 2030 (committee members), a federal advisory committee composed of non-federal, independent subject matter experts, is responsible for making recommendations to the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for the development and implementation of the national health promotion and disease prevention objectives for 2030. The committee will provide advice informed by current scientific evidence on the development and implementation of Healthy People 2030-a set of objectives that address public health issues shown to be high-impact priorities by current national data.
