Bringing Out the Treasure makes available in published form Rex Mason's 1973 dissertation on inner-biblical exegesis in Zechariah 9-14. The editors have added nine essays from two colloquia assessing the value of M.'s work and discussing developments over the last thirty years in the study of Zechariah 9-14, the classification and evaluation of intertextual relationships, and the formation of the Book of Zechariah and the corpus of the Minor Prophets.
