On 7 June 2004 Professor Maarten Bos passed away peacefully at the age of 87. Professor Bos's passing away not only signifies the loss of one of the Review's founding fathers and its Honorary Editor-in-Chief, but first and foremost a friend and an inspiring and eloquent scholar, an international lawyer and professor pur sang.
