ABOUT THE PLAYWRIGHT Richard Nelson's plays include Goodnight Children Everywhere, The General from America, New England, Misha's Party (co-written with Alexander Gelman), Columbus and the Discovery of Japan, Two Shakespearean Actors, Some Americans Abroad, Sensibility and Sense and Principia Scriptoriae. Goodnight Children Everywhere received the 2000 Olivier Award for Best Play, Two Shakespearean Actors received a Tony nomination for Best Play, Some Americans Abroad received an Olivier Award nomination for Best Comedy and Principia Scriptoriae received a London Time Out Award. Mr. Nelson has written numerous adaptations and the screenplay for Ethan Frome. He is Honorary Associate Artist of the Royal Shakespeare Company.
ABOUT THE LYRICIST/COMPOSER Shaun Davey is an Irish composer and lyricist who has composed everything from background scores to symphonies. He composed the score for the recent Fox Searchlight film Waking Iced Devine. He has composed extensively for theatre, working often with director Trevor Nunn and Irish playwright Sebastian Barry. He has composed for numerous productions at Ireland's Abbey Theatre and Gate Theatre and at England's Royal Court and Royal Shakespeare Company. He has...
