An Indiana Avenue building co-developed by Mansur Development Corp. and Business Opportunity Systems Inc. may be running several months behind schedule, but it has one very important factor working in its favor.
With ground breaking still a week away, the $3 million, 33,000-square-foot building to be called 500 Place is 90 percent leased, said Kenneth Morgan, president of BOS, a not-for-profit development corporation.
Tenants signed for the building include:
* IU School of Optometry: 13,300 square feet;
* The law firm of Lewis Bowman St. Clair and Wagner: 11,773 square feet;
* Associated Insurance Cos. Inc.: 2,995 square feet;
* Madame Walker Urban Life Center: 698 square feet.
Mansur also is negotiating with a local dentist, who would take 2,364 square feet leaving only about 1,800 square feet unleased, said Robert Echols, Mansur's vice president for development....
