Doug Johnston is enjoying the sweet taste of success.
His Goshen Community Bank Bank, which opened with a $5 million capitalization in September 2000, is now a $52 million bank and recently finished adding a 3,700-square-foot second story to its building at 511 W. Lincoln Ave. "We have been successful says Johnston, who was a commercial lender at a large bank when the 13 leaders talked to him about the community bank. "They approached me with this, and it was too good an offer to pass up.
"We recently went through expansion by adding a second story to our building. We have room to expand and grow."
