As long as there has been electricity on their Mishawaka farm, the Weaver family has been doing electrical work.
Now their business, operating out of a renovated barn, has some 20 employees and serves contractors and homeowners for miles around, and the third generation is taking over Weaver Electric.
Don Weaver's father, John, who once worked for another electrical company, started wiring homes to persuade the electric company to bring its line down his road in the 1940s.
