Insurance firm began in 1905 as Longmont Realty Co.

LONGMONT--In 1905 when Longmont was still a little community, Fred Flanders and CL Bradley started the Longmont Realty Co. on the corner of Fourth Avenue and Main Street in the Longmont National Bank building. It was April, and the streets were muddy ruts from horses and wagons going up and down in the spring rain.

The town was growing quickly, and new businesses were growing up around agricultural processing and livestock and dairy production. People needed homes and more land.
