Boston University School of Management has jumped into e-learning in a big way. The university will provide online sales training to 30,000 IBM Corp. employees worldwide.
The training will not, all at once. Initially, BU expects that 600 to 1,000 sales representatives will take the three-week online course in the first year. But with its sales force spread across 100 countries, IBM needed a decentralized training solution.
