Bukele appointed Alexandra Hill Tinoco as new chancellor

President-elect Nayib Bukele announced the first official of his Government Cabinet. One is Alexandra Hill Tinoco, designated like the next minister of Outer Relations in place of the current holder of the chancellery, Carlos Castaneda.

The appointment was announced by means of a message in the official account of the social network Twitter of the next president.

According to the leaflet published by Bukele, Hill Tinoco has experience in diplomatic issues after having worked at the Organization of American States (OAS), an institution of which he was part of the public policy creation team for the 34 nations that the integrate, according to the publication.

He has also worked with the United States Department of State and the United Nations Office on Drugs.

She has a degree in Political Science and Public Health. In addition, he studied the Bachelor of Arts, Political Sciences and Latin American Studies at the University of Boston, United States; in addition to postgraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University.

"I receive with great responsibility and joy this appointment of the elected president @nayibbukele.I am committed to the transformation of El Salvador.We are going to form a foreign policy of the new era for our country," assured the future official by means of a message issued, also, by social networks.

Hill Tinoco is the daughter of Jaime Hill, president of the Antidrug Foundation of El Salvador (FUNDASALVA) and former third councilor of the municipal council of the Mayor of San Salvador during the period 2015-2018 in which Bukele served as mayor of the capital.

Among the reactions that emerged yesterday after the announcement is that of the ARENA deputy Milena Mayorga, who said that "@CancillerAleHT is ready to work with you from the Foreign Relations Committee (of the Legislative Assembly).
