Oxford-style debate for fellows

'Global v local: what is the future for our supply chains?' will be the subject of the next CIPS fellows' event which will involve an Oxford Union-style debate followed by dinner. Professors Martin Christopher and Professor Richard Lamming will present opposing cases and two views of the future, one based on a return to a more local-for-local business model, and the other which argues that the benefits of properly managed global sourcing strategies will continue to outweigh the costs.
