Scarlets star helping girls follow in her footsteps: Alisha Butchers

Llanelli's Alisha Butchers fulfilled the dream of winning her first international cap three years ago and the back-rower has gone on to be a key member of the Wales women's side.

After winning her 25th cap in the Six Nations finale against Ireland, she was one of three Wales players that travelled to America as part of the famous Barbarians side that took on the USA.

The 21-year-old represents the Scarlets in regional competition and Worcester Valkyries at club level, while off the field Alisha is an engagement hub officer helping bring through the next generation of players as girls rugby continues to grow in Wales.
