Abstract

The MCA is particularly likely to apply to people with severe and enduring mental illness, including those with dementia and other neuropsychiatric disorders (Mukherjee and Shah, 2001; Okai ., 2007). Therefore, the experience of clinicians working in Old Age Psychiatry, who are likely to have greater experience in the use of MCA, in the early implementation of the MCA was formally examined.
