EZQuest's latest Boa DVD Recorder puts a shiny, wide-load enclosure on the Editor's Choice-winning Pioneer DVR-106D and makes it a handy, sturdy FireWire 400 drive. Like the recorder at its core, the Boa does almost everything you could expect in a modern-day DVD recorder: quad-speed recording to 4X-certified DVD-R and DVD+R media; 2.4X DVD+RW recording and rewriting; 2X DVD-RW recording and rewriting; 16X CD-R recording; and 10X CD-RW recording and rewriting. There are, of course, faster DVD+RW recorders out there (current max speed: 4X) and faster CD recorders, but this drive gets a lot of things done fast.
