The numbers and types of web services that have come to market in the last 18 to 24 months is amazing.
Some of them are over-hyped pieces of junk. But some of them are worthwhile services that can make your work and personal life easier at very little cost.
Collaboration is the concept that lies at the heart of many of these services, and collaborative project management is one of the most popular. It was just 20 months ago that I wrote about Basecamp, a collaborative project-management system.
It was a new product then, and I predicted a rosy future for it (along with a prediction for a lot of competition.)
Both forecasts came true. Basecamp now has tens of thousands of users and dozens and dozens of competitors.
