The PowerShot S400 may be one of the smallest, but Toshiba's PDR-4300 is one of the least-expensive 4-megapixel models. For Less than $400, you get advanced features such as burst mode, spot-metering, macro focus and a set of full-auto modes. It also sports a 1.6-inch LCD screen and a high-quality zoom lens (manufactured by Canon, in fact).
